Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Exchange, Visits Cambodia Exchange to Discuss Market Revitalization
The Korea Exchange announced on the 4th that Chairman Jeong Eun-bo will visit the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), an overseas investee company, on the 5th to discuss measures to revitalize the local market.
Previously, in July 2011, the Exchange launched the Cambodia Securities Exchange, a joint venture with the Cambodian government.
Chairman Jeong will request attention for the development of the Cambodia Securities Exchange and Cambodia's capital market through a meeting with Hinn Sahip, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of Cambodia (who also serves as Chairman of CSX). Additionally, he plans to meet with Seokho Hong, CEO of the Cambodia Securities Exchange, urging active efforts such as attracting investors and introducing new products to revitalize the CSX market.
