Sacheon-si to Hold Resident Briefing Session on Next Year's Cadastral Resurvey Project
Necessity of the Project, Establishment of Implementation Plan
Explanation of Content and Project Promotion Procedures
Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province will hold the ‘2025 Cadastral Resurvey Project Resident Briefing Sessions’ from November 8 to 20 at various administrative welfare centers and village halls.
These resident briefing sessions are organized to explain the necessity of the project, the details of the implementation plan, and the project promotion procedures to landowners, stakeholders, and local residents, and to collect their opinions.
The target districts for the 2025 cadastral resurvey project include a total of 10 districts such as the Mangsan Park area in Seongu-dong, covering 1,262 land parcels and 513,000 square meters.
These districts are areas where the actual usage status and the boundaries recorded in the cadastral register do not match, making it impossible to determine cadastral survey results. They are cadastral mismatch areas experiencing inconveniences in exercising ownership rights due to new building construction, road expansion, and paving works.
The city plans to commence the cadastral resurvey project after obtaining consent from at least two-thirds of the total number of landowners and two-thirds of the land area owners.
After the project designation in February 2025, cadastral resurvey measurements will be conducted, followed by administrative procedures such as boundary determination, objection filing, and adjustment payment calculation, with the project scheduled for completion by 2026.
Meanwhile, the cadastral resurvey project is a national project supported by government funds that uses precise modern surveying technologies (such as Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and drones) to correct inaccurate cadastral information and newly establish land boundaries for more usable land.
