Groundbreaking Ceremony for Residential Environment Improvement Project in Daedong 2 District, Daejeon / Dong District, Daejeon
View original imageDong-gu District of Daejeon announced that on the 30th, a groundbreaking ceremony for the Daedong 2 District Residential Environment Improvement Project was held, attended by Mayor Lee Jangwoo, District Chief Park Heejo, and LH President Lee Hanjun.
The Daedong 2 District project will construct a total of 1,420 housing units, including 1,130 for sale and 290 rental (New Home) units, on a 108,216-square-meter site encompassing Daedong and Yongun-dong in Dong-gu.
After being designated as a project area in 2006, the initiative faced various challenges, but following the project implementation approval in 2020 and the compensation process in June 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony was held on this day.
Park Heejo, Chief of Dong-gu District, stated, "It is very meaningful to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for Daedong 2 District, one of our long-awaited projects," and added, "We will cooperate with relevant departments to ensure the smooth progress of the project and strive to provide residents with a pleasant living environment."
