100kg Wild Boar Appears at Yangsan Hopo Station... 1 Injured and Facilities Damaged

A wild boar that appeared in the area and injured a person was shot dead.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, on the 29th at 4:44 PM, a wild boar appeared at Hopo Station in Dong-myeon, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, and attacked a man in his 30s who was in the third-floor restroom.
The man, who was bitten on his right arm by the wild boar, was quickly taken to the hospital, and the glass door of the fourth-floor Urban Railway Customer Center was broken.
The injured man sustained abrasions and other minor injuries but was reported to be in no life-threatening condition.
Earlier, the fire authorities had received a report of a wild boar appearing near a restaurant in Dong-myeon, Yangsan-si, and were on their way to the scene.
The wild boar crossed an 8-lane road near the restaurant and entered Hopo Station on Busan Urban Railway Line 2 on the opposite side, causing a disturbance.
The responding police officers cornered the wild boar at the edge of the fifth-floor platform of the station and fired three live rounds to immobilize it. Shortly after, a professional hunter who arrived at the scene confirmed and shot the wild boar dead at 5:43 PM that day.
According to the police and fire authorities, the wild boar was about 1.5 meters in length and weighed approximately 100 kg.
