Governor Kim Taeheum to Visit China from the 30th... Market Expansion and Tourism Promotion
Kim Taeheum, the governor of Chungnam, has embarked on a business trip to China to expand the market.
Governor Kim will visit Shenzhen and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, as well as Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province, for five days starting from the 30th.
During this trip, he will visit the China Import and Export Fair, the largest trade exhibition in China, to encourage local companies from Chungnam and urge local buyers to show interest in and purchase outstanding products from Chungnam.
At a tourism briefing session for travel agencies in Guangdong Province, he will sign an agreement for tourism cooperation and introduce the '2025~2026 Chungnam Visit Year.'
In Hebei Province, which marks the 30th anniversary of its sisterhood relationship, he plans to meet Governor Wang Zhengpu to sign agreements in various fields and promote exchange projects.
An official from the province stated, "China has long been a place of diverse exchanges and cooperation, and is one of Korea's top trading partners, competing for first and second place in imports and exports. This trip is expected to lay the foundation for expanding the Chinese market, attracting tourists, and strengthening friendly relations."
