Dongducheon-si Opens 'Sangpae Waterfront Park Hwangtotgil'
Dongducheon City completed the expansion project of Sangpae Waterside Park, created to improve citizens' health, on the 28th and is opening the red clay road to the public.
Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 29th that it has completed the expansion project of Sangpae Waterfront Park, created to improve citizens' health, on the 28th.
This project was selected in the small park environment creation project contest in 2023, and construction began in June this year and was completed on the 20th.
The city established a 160m-long and 1.3m-wide loess road, one footbath area, three exercise equipment sites, 8,100 shrubs, and 37,400 flowering plants, with the entire construction cost of 550 million KRW funded by provincial government support.
