BNK Savings Bank (CEO Kim Young-moon) received the ‘Financial Services Commission Chairman’s Commendation’ in the inclusive finance category at the 9th Financial Day ceremony held on the 29th at the Korea Economic Association Conference Center in Yeouido.
At this event, which awards individuals or organizations contributing to financial development, BNK Savings Bank was recognized for its efforts in supporting low-income finance and establishing an internal control system based on financial consumer protection, receiving the Financial Services Commission Chairman’s institutional commendation in the inclusive finance category.
BNK Savings Bank has implemented various policies to alleviate the debt repayment burden of borrowers facing difficulties, such as expanding policy finance systems to support low-income and financially vulnerable groups, reducing overdue interest for vulnerable groups affected by COVID-19, and waiving early repayment fees when converting high-interest loans for self-employed individuals through an agreement with the Korea Federation of Savings Banks.
CEO Kim Young-moon stated, “BNK Savings Bank has strived to fulfill its fundamental role as a specialized institution for low-income finance,” and added, “We will continue to provide customer-centered financial support worthy of our achievements in inclusive finance.”

In the ‘Self-Employed Consulting Program’ jointly conducted by the Korea Federation of Savings Banks and the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, BNK Savings Bank recorded the highest performance among 79 savings banks, actively contributing to strengthening the social role of savings banks.
