November 8-10, Held Around Jukbyeon Port Area
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will conduct promotional activities including a 'Hometown Love Donation Special Event' for visitors who make on-site donations at the '2024 Jukbyeon Port Seafood Festival' held from November 8 to 10 around Jukbyeon Port.
At this Hometown Love promotional booth, carefully selected thank-you gifts popular among donors such as squid, stone seaweed, red snow crab meat, traditional jocheong (grain syrup), and honey will be displayed. During the festival, an event will be held to encourage donations by giving an additional thank-you gift worth approximately 30,000 KRW to the first 50 donors who contribute 100,000 KRW or more on-site.
The Hometown Love Donation program allows individuals to donate to local governments other than their place of residence and receive year-end tax deductions (full deduction for donations under 100,000 KRW, 16.5% deduction for amounts exceeding 100,000 KRW) along with thank-you gifts worth up to 30% of the donation. The donated funds are used for local projects that improve residents' welfare, making it a system with triple benefits.
