Namyangju City, Festive Atmosphere at the '4th Byeollae-dong Hanmaeum Sports Festival'
Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is delivering a greeting at the '4th Byeollae-dong Unity Sports Festival' held on the 26th at Byeollae Sports Park Soccer Field.
The Byeollae-dong Sports Association (President Kim Seok-woo) in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 28th that it successfully held the "4th Byeollae-dong Unity Sports Festival" on the 26th at Byeollae Sports Park soccer field, with over 2,500 citizens participating.
The event proceeded in the order of △pre-ceremony performances △opening ceremony △cheerful sports competition △community gathering △closing ceremony.
The cheerful sports competition was divided into the Blue Team and the White Team. The competition featured various events including △comic relay △turning over bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) △pig herding △shoe archery △basket stacking △Byeollae OX quiz.
Following this, the community gathering included children's dance contests and resident singing competitions, which further elevated the atmosphere. During the event, there were generous prize draws for items such as wireless earphones and bicycles, receiving enthusiastic responses from participants including youth.
