Paju City held the "Traffic Signal Database (DB) Construction and Effect Analysis Service Interim Report Meeting" on the 23rd.
On the 23rd, Paju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 25th that it held an interim report meeting for the 'Traffic Signal Database (DB) Construction and Effect Analysis Service.'
This service is being implemented to efficiently improve the overall traffic signal system in Paju City, alleviate traffic congestion, and enhance traffic safety. The city organized the interim report meeting to share the progress and discuss future plans.
At the meeting, more than 20 participants, including the Director of the Road Traffic Bureau, heads of traffic-related departments, Paju Police Station, Korea Road Traffic Authority, Seoul Institute, traffic experts, and project implementers, reviewed the progress and achievements.
The city shared the analysis results using advanced programs and traffic data such as traffic status analysis, traffic flow simulation tests, and smart crosswalk system data, and exchanged various opinions on improvement measures.
In particular, suggestions were made to develop improvement plans that derive signal systems for habitual traffic congestion points during commuting hours and to prepare proactive measures to respond to traffic congestion caused by the development of the GTX (Great Train Express) Unjeong Central Station or the move-in of new apartments in the metropolitan area.
