On this day, about 3,000 people, including workers and participants of self-sufficiency projects from the Gyeonggi Metropolitan Self-Sufficiency Center and 33 regional self-sufficiency centers, attended the event.
Gyeonggi Province awarded the Governor's Commendation to self-sufficiency project participants, self-sufficiency center workers, and self-sufficiency business entrepreneurs who contributed to the promotion of self-sufficiency projects.
The self-sufficiency project supports low-income individuals with work ability to become self-reliant by helping them acquire skills and providing employment opportunities.
To revitalize self-sufficiency projects, Gyeonggi Province supports a total budget of 128.9 billion KRW for 24 related projects, including self-sufficiency labor projects, self-sufficiency center operation support projects, asset formation support projects, and self-sufficiency fund projects, helping low-income groups achieve self-sufficiency and independence.
Following this, side events such as booth experience events, celebrity performances, and talent shows were held, providing a meaningful time to strengthen the determination for self-sufficiency success.
