Southeast Nuclear Medicine District to Hold Liver Day Commemorative Health Lecture on the 25th
Hosted by the Korean Liver Association, Liver Disease Lecture and Community Health Screening
Co-organized by Dongnam Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences and Gijang County Health Center
On the occasion of the 25th 'Liver Day,' the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver is hosting a liver disease commemorative event, jointly organized by the Southeast Regional Radiation Medical Center and the Gijang County Public Health Center. The event will be held on the 25th at 1:30 PM in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Nuclear Hospital.
The public lecture on liver disease for local residents will feature Dr. Hwang Sang-yeon, a gastroenterologist at the Southeast Regional Radiation Medical Center, who will give a lecture on liver cancer. Professor Heo Nae-yoon from the Department of Gastroenterology at Haeundae Paik Hospital will provide a lecture on chronic liver disease, offering the latest information on liver health in an easy-to-understand and informative manner.
The Gijang County Public Health Center will participate in this commemorative event by providing blood pressure, oral health, and stress tests in the lobby on the 1st floor of the hospital building, as well as conducting a smoking cessation and alcohol moderation campaign.
Additionally, free hepatitis C virus self-test kits will be available in front of the main auditorium on the 2nd floor, where the lectures will take place.

The public lecture and health screening events are free and open to everyone. The first 100 participants in the health lecture will receive a small commemorative gift.
The Southeast Regional Radiation Medical Center will hold a health lecture in commemoration of Liver Day.
