View original imageDangjin City in Chungnam Province announced that starting in October, applications for the 'National Mind Investment Support Project,' which targets citizens experiencing emotional difficulties, will also be accepted online.
The 'National Mind Investment Support Project' is a program that provides professional psychological counseling services to people experiencing emotional difficulties, aiming to care for mental health and enable early detection of mental disorders.
Psychological assessments and professional psychological counseling service vouchers (a total of 8 sessions, each lasting at least 50 minutes) can be used at service providers nationwide.
Eligible applicants include: those recognized as needing counseling by mental health welfare centers, university counseling centers, youth counseling and welfare centers, Wee Centers, psychiatric medical institutions, etc.; those who have shown moderate or higher levels of depression in the mental health examination during the national health checkup; and self-reliant youth and children under extended protection.
Applicants can prepare the required documents and visit the customized welfare team at their local Eup, Myeon, or Dong administrative welfare center, or adults aged 19 and older can conveniently apply online through the 'Bokjiro' website or mobile app.
The online application process involves accessing the Bokjiro website or mobile app, logging in with a digital certificate, proceeding to the welfare benefits application section, and applying for the 'National Mind Investment Support Project.'
A Dangjin City official stated, "We hope that citizens experiencing emotional difficulties will be able to overcome their challenges through professional counseling and assessments," adding, "We will continue to work hard to promote the mental health of our citizens."
