Gapyeong-gun Launches Pilot Service for Mobile 'KakaoTalk AlimTalk' Notifications
Outstanding Non-Tax Revenue Information... Easily Check and Pay via KakaoTalk
Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) began a pilot operation of the 'KakaoTalk AlimTalk' service on the 23rd, which provides overdue non-tax revenue information via mobile electronic notifications. This service, set for full implementation next year, aims to enhance taxpayer convenience and increase the collection rate of overdue payments.
The KakaoTalk AlimTalk service allows taxpayers to receive overdue information on their smartphones registered under their name without any separate application process. Since access requires identity verification, it also prevents the risk of personal information leakage.
Taxpayers can view overdue details with just identity verification and can make immediate payments through KakaoPay, Wetax, and other platforms. Various payment methods are provided to increase convenience, and the use of virtual accounts is also supported.
Previously, paper notices were sent by mail, which caused issues such as lost or returned mail. This mobile notification service resolves these inconveniences and prevents problems caused by personal information leaks or address mismatches.
