The 43rd Daesun Joojo Cup Soccer Tournament, 63 Teams and 1,400 Participants

On the 22nd, Daesun Brewery announced that the ‘43rd Busan Metropolitan City Football Association President’s Cup and Daesun Brewery Cup Football Tournament,’ held on the 20th at Gijang World Cup Village and two other locations, concluded successfully.
The Busan City Football Association President’s Cup, first held in 1981, has established itself as a festival and a place of unity for local amateur football enthusiasts for 43 years.
The Daesun Brewery Cup Football Tournament was divided into five age categories (Youth, Middle-aged, Veteran, Silver, and Golden divisions). A total of 1,400 participants from 63 teams competed fiercely, with the following teams winning the championship: Youth Division Group A - Nam-gu, Group B - Geumjeong-gu; Middle-aged Division Group A - Saha-gu, Group B - Buk-gu; Veteran Division Group A - Gangseo-gu, Group B - Dongnae-gu; Silver Division Group A - Buk-gu, Group B - Gangseo-gu; Golden Division Group A - Yeonje-gu, Group B - Busanjin-gu. The winning teams in each group earned the right to participate in national competitions.
Baek Hyun-sik, President of the Busan City Football Association, said, “Thanks to the continuous sponsorship of Daesun Brewery, a representative company of Busan, the tournament has achieved remarkable growth. We hope they will continue to be a strong partner for Busan football in the future.”
