On the 21st, Suwon City held a ‘Suwon Mobile Electronic Notification System Construction Service Completion Report Meeting’ at the City Hall Disaster and Safety Situation Room, chaired by Kim Hyun-soo, the First Deputy Mayor, to discuss the service introduction plan.
The mobile electronic notification service is a system that sends bills and notices to the recipient’s smartphone registered under their name using certified electronic document intermediaries such as Kakao and KT, instead of paper bills.
The mobile electronic notification targets four types of documents: ▲local tax payment reminder notices ▲non-tax revenue delinquency payment reminders ▲automobile compulsory insurance reduction notices ▲automobile comprehensive inspection reminders. Next year, five more types, including preliminary and main parking violation fine notices, will be added.
Suwon City expects to save approximately 380 million KRW annually by introducing the mobile electronic notification system.
