SSG.com announced on the 22nd that it has introduced the 'Carbon Neutral Points' system for the first time in the e-commerce industry. The Carbon Neutral Points, operated by the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environment Corporation, is a program that provides incentives to consumers who participate in eco-friendly activities of private companies based on their performance.

SSG.com announced that it has introduced carbon-neutral points for the first time in the industry. When purchasing eco-friendly products worth 2,000 KRW or more on SSG.com, 1,000 KRW will be paid back.

The eligible recipients of the Carbon Neutral Points introduced by SSG.com are consumers who have registered with the Carbon Neutral Points mobile app (Carbon Pay). When purchasing eco-friendly products certified by the Ministry of Environment for 2,000 KRW or more on SSG.com, consumers receive an incentive of 1,000 KRW per order. The accumulated incentives can be redeemed as cash, card points, or other forms depending on the payment type selected at the time of joining the Carbon Neutral Points program. The maximum annual payout limit, including incentives earned through other eco-friendly activities, is 70,000 KRW.
