Pyeongchang County Council Completes On-Site Inspection of Major County Government Projects

The Pyeongchang County Council of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Chairman Nam Jin-sam) announced on the 18th that it has completed the on-site inspection of major county government projects for the second half of 2024.
The on-site inspection of major county government projects for the second half began on the 15th, the first day, starting with five project sites in Daegwallyeong, Jinbu, and Bongpyeong. On the 16th, five project sites in Pyeongchang, Bangnim, and Daehwa were visited, followed by visits to the remaining six project sites in Pyeongchang on the 17th. A total of 16 project sites across eight related departments were inspected for progress.

Through this on-site inspection of major county government projects, the Pyeongchang County Council plans to closely examine the progress of key investment projects and actively collect residents' opinions and public sentiment to reflect them in county administration.

Chairman Nam Jin-sam stated, “We will review the shortcomings found during the on-site inspections of the major county government projects for the second half and convey the explored solutions so that they can be actively reflected in county administration.” He added, “We ask that areas closely related to residents' lives be promoted to maximize their effectiveness.”
