Korea Teachers' Credit Union Launches New Technology Cancer Treatment and Care Coverage Product

The Korea Teachers' Credit Union announced on the 18th that it launched ‘THE Comprehensive Mutual Aid’ and ‘DA Guarantee Mutual Aid’ on the 14th to meet the increasing demand for new technology cancer treatment and caregiving coverage.
‘THE Comprehensive Mutual Aid’ is available for individuals aged 15 to 80 and features a significantly reduced premium burden by setting the expected interest rate at 3.75%. This product includes basic coverage such as general death and cancer diagnosis, as well as a total of 50 special contracts covering various diseases reflecting the lifestyle of teachers. Notably, it includes the ‘Integrated Cancer Direct Treatment Coverage,’ which provides repeated coverage during the cancer remission period (average 5 years), and the ‘Caregiver Hospitalization and Nursing Care Integrated Service,’ which covers up to 180 days.
Meanwhile, ‘DA Guarantee Mutual Aid’ is a renewable product specialized in diseases and accidents, allowing customers to choose renewal periods of 10, 20, or 30 years, with coverage available up to age 110. This product is equipped with various special contracts for cancer diagnosis and treatment, brain and cardiovascular diagnosis and surgery, accidents, and outpatient treatment for specific infectious diseases, enabling flexible design according to individual needs.
Additionally, the Credit Union provides healthcare services so that healthy customers can enjoy insurance benefits. This service is available during the insurance maintenance period of THE Comprehensive Mutual Aid and DA Guarantee Mutual Aid and includes various supports such as health consultations with medical professionals, health checkup planning and reservations, and nurse accompaniment during medical visits. However, the service is provided only to customers who pay at least 30,000 KRW per month (total payment burden of 7.2 million KRW or more) based on a 20-year payment plan.
