View original imageThe Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has begun accepting participants for the '2024 UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education' to be held this December.
The Office of Education announced on the 17th that, in collaboration with UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, and the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, it will host the '2024 UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education' from December 2 to 4 at the Suwon Convention Center, and is accepting applications for participation until November 4 through the official event website (https://futuresedu2024.kr).
This forum, under the theme 'A New Social Contract for Education for the Future,' aims to share research, policy, and practice trends among UNESCO member countries for the future of education and to explore ways to transform education.
On December 2, the program will include an opening ceremony, cultural performances, plenary sessions, ministerial-level dialogues, followed by a special session hosted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
On the 3rd, overseas participants will visit schools and educational institutions within the province, attend keynote speeches, and participate in parallel thematic sessions.
The final day, December 4, will feature plenary sessions and a closing ceremony, with exhibitions and experiential booths related to Gyeonggi education policies and educational activities on the future of education operating throughout the forum.
