Sangju City Business Awards: Grand Prize to Deoksan GS CEO Park Moonsu... Excellence Award to Jinsung CEO Cho Jinwoo

Sangju City (Mayor Kang Youngseok) announced on the 14th that Park Moonsu, CEO of Deoksan GS Co., Ltd., was selected as the recipient of the Grand Prize at the 5th Sangju City Entrepreneur Awards 2024, and Cho Jinwoo, CEO of Jinseong Co., Ltd., was selected as the recipient of the Excellence Award.

The Sangju City Entrepreneur Awards are given to exemplary businesspeople who have contributed to revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs through continuous business growth, and who have set an example in community service. Since the first awards in 2020, a total of seven recipients have been honored.

Grand Prize winner Park Moonsu established Deoksan GS Co., Ltd. in the Oedap Industrial Complex in Sangju City in 2007, mass-producing products such as water pipes, manholes, and vegetation blocks. The company has been recognized for its manufacturing technology and quality, acquiring KS certification, and has achieved annual sales of 180 billion KRW based on its concrete product manufacturing.

Excellence Award winner Cho Jinwoo has served as CEO of Jinseong Co., Ltd. in the Hwaseo Industrial Complex since 2013, leading eco-friendly construction, acquiring ISO certification, and expanding the business through patent applications and other initiatives. He has contributed significantly to revitalizing the local economy and attracting population, as well as increasing local employment and improving worker welfare.
