Yangju City, Healing Space-Time 'Orbit Hoeamsa:Re' a Great Success
Held daily from 6 PM to 9 PM until the 27th
Over 10,000 visitors in the first week... New event planned
Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 12th that the cultural technology content experience exhibition "Orbit Hoeamsa: Re" is being held successfully at the national heritage site Hoeamsaji in Hoeam-dong, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Agency, the media art exhibition "Orbit Hoeamsa: Re," produced throughout the Hoeamsaji site in Yangju, is part of Gyeonggi Province's exhibition brand "Orbit," which combines cultural technology with local content.
The city explained that this event implies a double meaning, offering visitors a healing space-time experience and symbolizing the space enshrining the Buddha's "sarira" (relics).
Since the grand opening ceremony on the 2nd, "Orbit Hoeamsa: Re" has been providing various light-based experiences across 10 dreamlike exhibition spaces.
Through many advance reservations and word of mouth, over 10,000 visitors have already attended in the first week, with on-site satisfaction rates exceeding 95%, reflecting a very positive response.
A city official said, "We thank everyone who visited 'Orbit Hoeamsa: Re' and plan to prepare new events such as giving gifts to returning visitors to Orbit or the Yangju City Hoeamsaji Museum during the remaining period," adding, "We hope many will come to this meaningful place to offer a healing space-time to their beloved family, friends, and lovers on the deepening autumn nights."
