The Korea Long Drive Golf Association (KLDGA) successfully concluded the 1st Peru-ga Shaft Korea-Japan Long Drive Competition.
The event took place on the 5th at the GDR Golf Academy Daeyeon Branch in Busan. It was divided into five leagues: Champions League, Professional League, Masters League, Women's League Unlimited, and Women's League Under 60kg. In the Champions League, professional golfer Lee Hyun-seok hit 400 yards to claim first place. Park Geon-ho (377.9 yards) won the Professional League, Lee Chang-gyu (360 yards) the Masters League, Shin Ji-eun (310 yards) the Women's League Unlimited, and in the Women's League Under 60kg, Miho Sugiyama from Japan won with 289 yards.
