Lotte Chemical Achieves 'Highest' Grade in Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation
Selected for 2 Consecutive Years
Lotte Chemical announced on the 8th that it received the highest grade in the 2023 Win-Win Growth Index evaluation announced by the Win-Win Growth Committee. Lotte Chemical achieved the highest grade for two consecutive years, following last year.
The Win-Win Growth Index is a quantifiable indicator that evaluates the level of win-win growth to promote cooperation between large and small-to-medium enterprises. It is announced by combining the comprehensive evaluation results from the Win-Win Growth Committee and the compliance evaluation results from the Fair Trade Commission.
To protect the rights and interests of its partners, Lotte Chemical has participated in the "Pilot Operation Voluntary Agreement for the Delivery Price Linkage System" and has introduced and operated the delivery price linkage system since 2022.
It also received positive evaluations for its creative and voluntary win-win activities. It was recognized for its support achievements for the social venture Loop Social, a waste plastic resource circulation campaign project, and was the first to be selected for the "1st Win-Win Honors" hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups last year.
Lotte Chemical operates and supports a 135 billion KRW scale Win-Win Growth Fund to stabilize management through smooth fund operation for its partners. As of last year, 158 partner companies have benefited from this fund. Additionally, by supporting partners' overseas expansion and sales growth, it achieved 47.5 billion KRW in market expansion last year.
Furthermore, to strengthen the technological competitiveness of its partners, Lotte Chemical is conducting joint research projects in various fields including eco-friendly technologies and operates a system to dispatch company experts to assist in quality improvement. It also supported environmental seminars, disaster prevention consulting, and safety management facilities to prevent safety accidents.
