Inha University Semiconductor Specialized University Project Group Opens... Establishing Talent Development Education Facilities and Equipment
Inha University recently held an opening ceremony for the Semiconductor Specialized University Project Group and has begun full-scale activities.
The Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project is a national project by the Ministry of Education that comprehensively supports educational facilities, equipment establishment, and corporate fieldwork to nurture semiconductor talent.
Inha University was selected to participate in the co-growth type (metropolitan area and non-metropolitan area) field in collaboration with Kangwon National University. At Inha University, Professor Kang Jin-gu of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was appointed as the head of the overall project group.

View original imageWith the launch of the project group, Inha University plans to establish a sustainable education system by building chiplet semiconductor education infrastructure and developing educational programs. As a co-growth type project with Kangwon National University, they have started operating programs to build a cooperative network capable of nurturing talent across industry, academia, and research.
Following the opening ceremony held on the 2nd, an expert invited lecture featured the top domestic experts in semiconductor device processes, circuit design, memory, and packaging fields, providing an opportunity to share future semiconductor technologies with participating institutions and companies.
