Daegu Urban Corporation Provides Employee Safety Training Using VR for Industrial Accidents Such as Falls and Suffocation
Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jung Myungseop) announced on the 7th that it has conducted safety training for its employees using VR (Virtual Reality).
The training, held on the 4th, utilized the mobile VR education program of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. It was designed to enhance employees' safety awareness and response capabilities by allowing them to virtually experience various accident scenarios that may occur at industrial sites.

View original imageThe training content focused on creating a safe working environment through hands-on education in areas such as risk assessment, prevention of asphyxiation in confined spaces, case studies of electrical and telecommunication construction accidents, ladder falls, and falls from mobile scaffolding.
Through VR safety training, Daegu Urban Development Corporation expects to increase employee engagement in safety education and improve understanding and awareness of accident prevention through experiential learning.
