Goyang-si Conducts Individual Housing Characteristics Survey for 2025 Price Assessment
20,233 Detached, Multi-family, and Mixed-use Residential Properties Targeted
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 7th that it will conduct a survey on the characteristics of individual houses for the calculation of individual house prices in 2025 until November 29.
The survey targets 20,233 houses, including detached, multi-family, and residential-commercial houses within the area.
The city will assign a total of eight surveyors by district, who will first check changes in various official documents such as the building register, then visit sites to investigate land and housing characteristics such as house usage, building structure, and whether there have been extensions or reconstructions.
Once the housing characteristic survey is completed, individual house prices will be calculated by comparing the characteristics of individual houses with those of standard houses based on the standard house price. Afterwards, the prices will be verified by the Korea Real Estate Board, followed by hearing the opinions of house owners and deliberation by the Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee. The individual house prices are scheduled to be finalized and announced on April 30, 2025.

A city official stated, “Since the publicly announced individual house prices are used as the basis for various taxes such as national and local taxes, we plan to conduct a fair and accurate survey to ensure that citizens are not disadvantaged.” He added, “We ask for the active cooperation of citizens so that the surveyors’ site visits can proceed smoothly.”
