Chungnam Governor Kim Taeheum to Embark on European Trip for Foreign Investment Attraction Starting on the 7th
Kim Tae-heum, the governor of Chungnam, has departed on a business trip to Europe to attract foreign investment.
From the 7th to the 13th, Governor Kim will visit Italy and Germany to sign investment agreements with global energy and chemical companies and conclude a letter of intent for friendly cooperation with the state of Hesse.
First, in Italy, he will sign an investment agreement with a global energy and chemical company. The investing company plans to establish a joint venture in Seosan and build a next-generation, eco-friendly fuel production plant.
Additionally, he will meet with Cardinal Lazarus You Heung-sik, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Clergy, at the Vatican in Rome to discuss plans for hosting the World Youth Day of the Catholic Church in Korea in 2027.
Next, in Germany, he will sign a letter of intent for friendly cooperation with the state of Hesse, the financial and economic center of Europe, and hold a meeting with Korean companies operating in Germany as his final schedule.
