Strengthening Government-Academia Cooperation
The National Gugak Center in Busan (Director: Lee Jungyeop) and Tongmyong University (President: Jeon Ho-hwan) signed a mutual exchange agreement on the 4th to strengthen cooperation in the convergence of traditional performing arts and cultural technology, as well as in the field of advanced entertainment industry.

The National Gugak Center in Busan will conduct digital content-related educational projects to help young artists in the field of traditional performing arts broaden their creative horizons and enhance their knowledge and capabilities. Tongmyong University will provide infrastructure and personnel to support practical experience and skill development, actively engaging in business cooperation.
Lee Jungyeop, Director of the National Gugak Center in Busan, said, "Through this agreement, I hope to see not only substantial capacity building for young people but also the revitalization of traditional performing arts and active cultural and artistic exchanges among young artists."
Jeon Ho-hwan, President of Tongmyong University, stated, "Cooperation between universities and arts institutions is an encouraging step for fostering unique cultural and artistic talents in the region. We will continue to support the training of professionals and the creation of new creative ideas."
