Soaked in the Charm and Excitement of Gwana-ji? 'Yangju Gwana-ji Night Stroll' Successfully Concluded
Yangju City successfully held the "Yangju Gwana-ji Night Stroll," part of the "Weekend IN Yangju Gwana-ji" event, on the 28th of last month.
Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 2nd that the "Yangju Gwana-ji Night Stroll," part of the Yangju Gwana-ji revitalization program "Weekend IN Yangju Gwana-ji," was successfully concluded on the 28th of last month.
Organized to provide Yangju citizens and visitors with opportunities to enjoy cultural life in their daily routines, the "Yangju Gwana-ji Night Stroll" offered various sights and activities that allowed participants to experience the history and traditional culture of Yangju on a deepening autumn evening.
The event featured performances utilizing the interior and exterior of the Yangju Gwana-ji pavilions, as well as activities for all ages such as making Dongheon pouches, assembling Gwana-ji 3D puzzles, experiencing Gwana-ji woodblock printing, and a small cinema showcasing excavation sites of artifacts from Yangju City, all conducted in a stamp tour format at the Dongheon east and west wings and booths beside the outer gate.
In particular, the traditional Korean music performed by the Sonori Art Troupe in the Dongheon courtyard, combined with nighttime landscape lighting, drew exclamations of awe from all spectators.
The event continued with a Joseon magic show featuring witty banter and performances, filling the venue with enthusiastic responses and cheers.

A city official stated, "Through this program, we will strive to create an environment where people can enjoy various historical and cultural experiences in their daily lives at Yangju Gwana-ji and develop new perspectives on cultural heritage."
