Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei reportedly moved to a secure domestic location with enhanced security measures for his personal safety on the 28th (local time).
According to major foreign media, in relation to the Israeli military's elimination of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Iran-aligned Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, multiple officials confirmed that Khamenei evacuated to a secure location within Iran with heightened security levels.
There were also reports that Iran is currently maintaining continuous contact with Hezbollah and other regional proxy groups in response to Nasrallah's elimination. Hezbollah, which has long received support from Iran, requested assistance from Iran following Israel's precision strike, but Iran has drawn a line against escalating the conflict.
