This Dementia Safety Center operation evaluation was conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, comprehensively assessing 256 Dementia Safety Centers nationwide based on ▲ dementia infrastructure establishment ▲ provision and management of dementia services ▲ strengthening regional dementia capabilities. Only the top 10% of institutions were selected as A grade.
The city also added that it received an institutional encouragement award in the '2024 Gyeonggi-do Dementia Project Best Practice Contest.'
To create a dementia-friendly environment where dementia patients, their families, and local residents can live with peace of mind, Osan City established a dedicated space for the Dementia Safety Center at the Jungang-dong Administrative Welfare Center last March. Through this, the city is promoting integrated management services such as ▲ patient registration management ▲ early screening support ▲ program operation ▲ awareness improvement projects.
