Punggi-eup will develop various policies to increase the population, while the organizations and institutions will participate in the 'Adopt a Punggi Address' campaign for residents not yet registered in the area, promote population increase initiatives, and take part in education on population and low birth rates.
Choi Jongchil, principal of Gyeongbuk Aviation High School, said, "Let's establish an organic public-private cooperation system to overcome the crisis of population decline and local extinction together."
