KB Securities Presents Value-Up Index Investment Solution Using 'Direct Indexing'
KB Securities announced on the 27th that it has introduced two new presets for 'KB Securities Direct Indexing,' allowing investors to edit and invest in the Korea Value-Up Index (hereinafter referred to as the Value-Up Index) in their own style immediately after its release.
The Korea Exchange announced the Value-Up Index on the 24th as part of the government's corporate value-up support measures. The index was developed to support companies' voluntary efforts to enhance corporate value and to stimulate investment. Composed of 100 stocks from KOSPI and KOSDAQ, the Value-Up Index selects stocks evenly based on qualitative factors as well as external criteria such as market capitalization. Starting early November, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and index futures based on the index will also be listed.
KB Securities quickly provided two presets (pre-set portfolios suggested by investment experts) using KB Securities Direct Indexing, enabling individuals to select and invest in desired stocks among the 100 stocks in the Value-Up Index.
First, through the '[Korea Value-Up Index] Top 10 Market Cap Compression Strategy!' preset, 10 stocks including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor were selected in order of market capitalization to align with the flow of the Value-Up Index.
Additionally, anticipating increased investment demand for relatively undervalued quality stocks or mid-cap stocks within the Value-Up Index, KB Securities introduced the '[Korea Value-Up Index] Finding Undervalued Quality Stocks within the Constituent Stocks!' preset. This new preset immediately offers a selection of undervalued and quality stocks within each industry group, such as DB HiTek, PharmaResearch, and Chong Kun Dang.
Through this, interested investors can select stocks included in the Value-Up Index and invest diversely in portfolios even before related products are launched.
