Gwanak-gu Hosts Online and Offline Job Fair
3rd Year Hybrid Online-Offline Job Fair Without Time and Location Restrictions... Achieved 250 Hires Last Year... Online Recruitment Hall Operates for 5 Weeks from September 30... Offline Recruitment Hall Held at Gwanak-gu Office on October 4 with On-site Interview Opportunities
Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold the ‘Gwanak-gu Online and Offline Job Fair’ again this year to expand opportunities for meetings between recruiting companies and job seekers anytime and anywhere.
Now in its third year, the district operates the event both online and offline, leveraging the advantages of on-site recruitment opportunities and non-face-to-face formats.
Over the past two years, an average of about 90 companies from various industries have participated in the job fair, creating a diverse hiring platform that has been very popular among job seekers.
In particular, last year, top-tier companies including ▲Sajo Group ▲LG Innotek participated in large numbers, achieving the hiring of 250 people.
This year, to revitalize the increasingly challenging job market due to the economic downturn, the district has extended the operation period of the online recruitment hall compared to last year, and in collaboration with the Gwanak Employment Welfare Plus Center, will operate a health and welfare recruitment hall featuring specialized companies in health and welfare services with high demand for recruitment and job seeking.
The online recruitment hall will be operated on a dedicated recruitment site for five weeks from September 30 to October 31.
During this period, recruiting companies can post job announcements at any time, and job seekers can apply to their desired companies. Additionally, the site offers various employment support services such as ▲online personality tests ▲self-introduction letter consulting ▲employment support programs.
The offline recruitment hall will be held on October 4 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the 8th-floor auditorium of Gwanak-gu Office.
On this day, in addition to the recruitment hall where on-site interviews with hiring managers of desired companies can be conducted, various side events such as ▲guidance on employment support programs by related organizations ▲interview image consulting ▲personal color diagnosis ▲caricature drawing will also take place.
District Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “I hope this will be a good opportunity for companies in need of talent and residents seeking jobs to be properly matched,” adding, “Jobs are the best welfare. We will continue to prepare various employment support projects to create quality jobs.”
