BPA and Lao Government Officials Visit Busan Port
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) announced that on September 25, fifteen high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of the Lao government, including the Vice Minister, visited Busan Port.
This visit was organized as part of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) project by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), inviting Lao port managers to Korea to benchmark advanced port facilities and operational systems, with the aim of strengthening port management capabilities.
The Lao officials toured the North Port area by port guide vessel and received a briefing on the redevelopment project at the North Port Redevelopment Promotion Center. Afterwards, they moved to the New Port to observe the operation of the container terminal and hinterland complex, followed by a Q&A session.
