Namyangju-si Attends New Energy Development Conference in Shangzhou-si, China
Scheduled to Attend Sisterhood 25th Anniversary Book Donation Ceremony and Photo Exhibition
Gyeonggi Namyangju City announced that it will visit Sangju City, China, from the 24th to the 27th upon the official invitation of Sangju City.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the sister city relationship established on September 21, 1999, between Namyangju City and Sangju City, China. On the first day of the visit, the delegation plans to attend a book donation ceremony and photo exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Namyangju and Sangju at the Sangju City Library.
The Namyangju City delegation consists of a total of 16 members, including Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, related officials, Chairman Lee Hong-gyun and executives of the Gyeonggi Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the 3 nights and 4 days, the delegation will participate in various official events to explore cooperation areas and revitalize exchange relations with the international sister city, Sangju, China.
On the 25th, the delegation plans to tour the Xinbei Industrial Complex, known for advanced manufacturing in China, followed by a meeting with Sangju leaders and a discussion with the Sangju mayor about various fields including economic opportunities for Namyangju companies.
On the 26th, Mayor Joo will participate in the "Sangju New Energy Industry Development Conference," where he will present the vision for hydrogen power generation and advanced industrial complexes in Namyangju’s Wangsuk New Town, and exchange information on the latest energy technologies and trends.
