On this day, over 50 officials and industry representatives related to tourism and the MICE industry from 31 cities and counties in the province attended, taking the opportunity to grasp the latest trends in the MICE industry and strengthen their capabilities to establish practical MICE industry strategies tailored to the characteristics of each region.
The main training topics included ▲Understanding the MICE industry ▲Current status of the Gyeonggi-do MICE industry and city/county cooperative projects ▲Strategies to revitalize unique venues ▲Successful cases of fostering city/county regional specialized conventions ▲The MICE industry and artificial intelligence (AI), among others.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "We expect this training to raise awareness of the MICE industry among city and county officials and serve as a useful guide for establishing MICE industry development strategies for each city and county," adding, "We plan to continue providing related training to promote balanced development of the city and county MICE industries."
