Icheon 'Haetsare Janghowon Peach Festival' Successfully Concludes
Over 80,000 Visitors in Three Days... 11,400 Boxes Sold
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced on the 23rd that it successfully concluded the 'Haetsare Janghowon Peach Festival,' held over three days from the 20th to the 22nd.

The city explained that despite the bad weather, about 82,000 people visited the festival, and 11,400 boxes of peaches were sold during this period.
In addition to direct peach sales, various events such as free flower and rice giveaways and a singing contest were held at the festival. Also, direct peach markets were set up at Seolbong Park and Icheon Lotte Premium Outlet during the festival period.

Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, said, "I appreciate the hard work of the fruit farmers who prepared the festival by producing delicious peaches despite the heatwave and high temperatures," adding, "We will continue to make greater efforts to widely promote the status of Haetsare Janghowon Hwangdo."
