North Korea's 'Trash Balloon' Falls on Jongno Government Seoul Office Building

Another 'trash balloon' from North Korea has fallen within the Government Seoul Complex in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

View original imageAccording to police and fire authorities, a related report was received on the morning of the 20th, and the area around the main gate parking lot of the complex where the debris of the trash balloon was found is currently being controlled. The discovered contents were identified as plastic waste. Military authorities dispatched personnel to collect the debris and plan to check for any hazards or contamination.
Previously, in May, debris from a trash balloon sent by North Korea was found on the rooftop of the Government Seoul Complex. In July, concerns grew as debris also fell within the Yongsan Presidential Office Complex.
On the 20th, debris believed to be contents of North Korean garbage balloons was found near the parking lot of the Government Seoul Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
