So far, the clinic has conducted home visits for approximately 600 people.
In August, the city signed a business agreement to actively identify and provide medical services to home visit candidates in cooperation with private and public institutions, including Naejibeseo Clinic. For vulnerable groups such as basic livelihood security recipients and the near-poor, the city also supports part of the out-of-pocket expenses (transportation costs).
Director Koo Jahyun said, "After experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic and facing the reality of patients who cannot come to the hospital, I started home visit medical services," and added, "I will continue to work with the local community to provide better medical services to patients in areas that are out of reach of the healthcare sector."
Mayor Lee Kangdeok stated, "I deeply appreciate the dedication of those who visit and treat vulnerable patients who have difficulty accessing medical services," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that public-private cooperation enables smooth medical support for vulnerable groups."
