Professional baseball player Kim Do-young (20) of the KIA Tigers hit a home run for the first time in half a month.
On the 16th, Kim Do-young appeared as the leadoff batter in the top of the 3rd inning during the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League away game against the kt wiz at Suwon KT Wiz Park, and hit a solo home run off kt's starting pitcher Wes Benjamin, extending the lead to 4-0.
After hitting his 35th home run of the season in the game against the Daegu Samsung Lions on the 1st, Kim Do-young had gone eight games without a home run, but he hit one in front of the fans filling KT Wiz Park.
