Chungnam Governor Kim Taeheum Visits Cheonan Jungang Market to Encourage Merchants
Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum visited Cheonan Jungang Market on the 13th, ahead of Chuseok, to listen to public sentiment.
On this day, Governor Kim met with Yu Jeheung, president of the merchants' association, and others to hear voices from the field, purchased holiday necessities, and offered words of encouragement to merchants struggling with the economic downturn.
He also participated in a price stabilization campaign organized by a consumer group, supporting efforts to boost sales in traditional markets.
Governor Kim said, "Being here in person, I can truly feel the difficulties faced by the merchants. However, if we come together and pool our wisdom, I am confident we can overcome these challenges," adding, "I will do my best to revitalize traditional markets and the local economy."
