Naval Jinhae Base Command Visits Jinhae Central Market to Encourage and Communicate with Soldiers and Merchants
Nam-pyo Hong, the Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, continued his busy schedule of field visits by visiting the Jinhae Naval Base Command and Jinhae Central Market on the 12th in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, offering encouragement to military personnel and merchants and engaging in communication with the local community.

In a meeting with Commander Taehoon Kim of the Jinhae Base, he thanked the command for their cooperation with the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival and discussed ways to further strengthen civil-military cooperation in the future.

Mayor Hong stated, "We are implementing various policies to revitalize traditional markets so they can become the center of the local economy," and added, "We will focus on projects to improve the environment of traditional markets to make them places that many citizens want to visit."
