Synergy AI Selected as Korea Representative for Startup World Cup Hosted by Global VC
Selected for US San Francisco Finals with Arrhythmia Prediction Technology

Medical AI startup Synergy AI announced on the 12th that it was selected as the Korean representative at the 'Startup World Cup' Korea preliminaries held at Change Up Ground Pohang on the 4th.
The Startup World Cup is one of the world's largest global startup pitching competitions hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, USA, with preliminaries held in over 40 regions worldwide, including Korea.
Selected as the Korean representative, Synergy AI will participate in the finals (semi-final to grand finale) held in San Francisco, USA, from the 2nd to the 4th of next month with its main solution, the arrhythmia prediction technology "McKay." Arrhythmia is a heart disease where early detection and management are crucial, and Synergy AI's technology predicts it in advance, providing data to both medical staff and patients. It analyzes electrocardiograms (ECG) using AI to predict the risk of arrhythmia occurrence within 14 days and supports taking necessary measures.
Earlier this year, Synergy AI received the CES 2024 Innovation Award and the Grand Prize at the Korea International Advanced Medical Devices and Medical Industry Exhibition (KOAMEX) 2024, hosted by the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center in June. The company is also securing practical clinical data through collaborative research with domestic and international hospitals and medical institutions, planning to further enhance the accuracy and efficiency of its technology based on this. Cooperation with global healthcare companies is also planned.
