Actor Song Kang-ho will star as the protagonist in the series adaptation of the film Inside Men, the production company Hive Media Corp announced on the 12th.
Director Woo Min-ho's film Inside Men (2015) attracted a cumulative audience of 7.07 million, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film in history. The series adaptation of Inside Men (working title), which expands the film's universe, weaves together events and characters spanning the 1980s and 1990s to tell the story of insiders. Song Kang-ho will play Lee Kang-hee, who orchestrates and organizes the power dynamics that move South Korea.

Direction is by Mo Wan-il, who directed the OTT Netflix series In the Forest, No One Is There and the drama The World of the Married (2020). The screenplay is written by Lee Ki-chul, who penned the films Mogadishu (2021), Assassination (2015), and The Thieves (2012). Pre-production is underway with the goal of starting principal photography next year.
