TBS Removed from Seoul Metropolitan Government Affiliated Institutions... Privatization from the 11th
Seoul City is officially withdrawing from TBS. TBS will implement independent management through privatization.
According to Seoul City and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 10th, TBS will have its status as a Seoul City-funded institution revoked starting from the 11th. This will be announced through a notice from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Previously, in February 2020, Seoul City changed TBS from a city-operated business office to a foundation as a local funded institution.
With the revocation of its funded institution status, the legal basis for additional support from the city and the city council to TBS will disappear.
