Korea Financial Training Institute Appoints Lee Junsu as New President
The Korea Institute of Financial Training announced on the 10th at the general meeting of employees that Lee Junsu, former Deputy Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, has been appointed as the new president. Lee's term will be three years starting from the 11th.
New President Lee Junsu graduated from the Department of Economics at Yonsei University and earned a master's degree in economics from Boston University in the United States. He joined the Bank of Korea in 1992 and moved to the Financial Supervisory Service in 1999, where he served as Director of the Banking Supervision Bureau, Deputy Governor in charge of banking, and Deputy Governor in charge of banking and small and microfinance.
