Five Domestic Car Companies Offer Free Inspections During Chuseok Holiday

Five domestic automobile manufacturers will provide free vehicle inspection services during the Chuseok holiday period.
On the 9th, the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association announced that from 8:30 AM on the 11th to 5:30 PM on the 13th, it will conduct the "2024 Chuseok Free Vehicle Inspection Service" together with domestic car manufacturers.
All five domestic manufacturers?Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, Korea GM, Renault Korea, and KG Mobility?will participate in this event. Customers who visit designated service centers during the free inspection period can have their engine and air conditioning system status, tire air pressure and wear condition, brake and pad wear, coolant and various oils, wiper, and fuse conditions checked. If necessary after the free inspection, services such as washer fluid refills will be provided free of charge.
Hyundai Motor Company will conduct the service at 1,234 service partners (Bluehands), and Kia will provide it at 17 directly operated service centers and 755 service partners (AutoQ). Customers can download and present free inspection coupons from each company's mobile application (app).
Korea GM offers free inspections at 9 directly operated service centers and 383 partner service centers; Renault Korea at 7 directly operated service centers and 380 partner service centers (for My Renault app subscribers); and KG Mobility at 2 directly operated service centers and 319 partner service centers.

A representative from the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association stated, "To provide prompt support in case of vehicle breakdowns or traffic accidents during driving, each manufacturer operates emergency dispatch teams at all times. We encourage customers to utilize these services to receive quick assistance from the nearest repair shop in emergency situations."
