Guri City Opens Guri Traditional Market 2nd Public Parking Lot from the 9th
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 6th that it will temporarily open the Guri Traditional Market Second Public Parking Lot starting from the 9th to provide convenience to citizens visiting the Guri Traditional Market ahead of Chuseok.
The Guri Traditional Market Second Public Parking Lot was constructed with a project cost of 30.7 billion KRW, starting in 2018, and was recently completed to enhance convenience for market users.
It has a total of 383 parking spaces spanning from three basement levels to five above-ground floors. The first floor houses a small business promotion center and a commercial district revitalization foundation, while the first basement floor includes a multipurpose room for merchants and customers.
The city had planned to open the parking lot after a completion ceremony on the 13th, but considering the convenience of citizens visiting the market before the holiday and the effect on revitalizing the local economy, it decided to open the facility in advance.
With the opening of the Second Public Parking Lot, the nearby street parking lot along the flower road, which had 26 spaces and caused traffic inconvenience, will be closed.
